As January draws to an end (hoorah), we’ve rounded-up some of our favourite brand experience campaigns from this month.

1. Virgin Holidays transport consumers to their dream destination through hypnosis

Virgin Holidays teamed up with Paul McKenna to create a live experience at House of Fraser, Bluewater. With Mckenna hosting 20 minute ‘holiday hypnotherapy’ sessions, making shoppers feel as if they'd just had a two-week holiday abroad.

iD’s verdict: When it comes to creating a unique experience, timing is everything and with January officially one of the most depressing months of the year, this activation couldn’t have been executed at a better time. The only downfall would have been snapping back into reality!

2. Harrods Estates experiments with Oculus Rift

Luxury estate agent, Harrods Estates collaborated with property development company Manhattan Loft Gardens to launch a hi-tech pop-up shop in London. Situated on the famous Brompton Road, the store showcases the finest properties for sale and rent across London. To support the launch, Manhattan Loft Gardens created an impressive piece of Oculus Rift software that gives visitors the chance to explore the apartments through a virtual reality experience.

iD’s verdict: Property development companies are now investing in taking more of an experiential approach to their marketing and as our year-long campaign for East Village demonstrated, it's the perfect vehicle to help bring the intangible to life. This is also a really nice example of how Oculus Rift technology can be used to amplify a live experience.

3. Chloé and Debenhams create #DebsLoveStory

Fragrance brand Chloé and Debenhams, invited customers to experience the famous Pont Des Arts Bridge in Paris, through an interactive store window display. Customers were able to personalise their very own padlock via a large screen in the Debenhams flagship store and virtually place it on the famous bridge. They were then encouraged to take selfies next to their padlock and upload via Twitter for the chance to win a trip to the city of love.

iD’s verdict: We love the fact that Chloé were able to bring one of the most famous landmarks in Paris to life - right in the heart of London.Très bien!
