iD & InsureandGo picked up a silver award for 'Best Experiential Campaign' at the prestigious 2015 Travel Marketing Awards.

The ceremony, held at Grosvenor House, on Thursday 19th March, celebrated marketing excellence across the travel industry and included categories for Experiential, PR, Advertising & Digital.

The award was presented to InsureandGo for their 2014 summer activation, in partnership with Rossi's Ice-Cream, 'Around the World in 80 Scoops.'

The campaign, our first experiential activity for the brand, encouraged consumers to get in the holiday spirit and featured:

  • A pop-up ice-cream parlour located in Canary Wharf and Londons' Southbank
  • Brand Ambassadors sampled 80 unique flavours inspired by different countries around the world (over 18,000 ice-creams were sampled)
  • Live daily street performances - including belly dancers, a steel pan musician and Venetian ballerinas for entertainment

Visitors were also invited to design their own flavour of ice-cream via a social media competition using #80scoops. The winner was then given a private tour of the Rossi's ice-cream factory - as well as 4 litres of their exotic creation!
