iD is the UK's leading full service experiential and in-store marketing agency, delivering everything from creative strategy, right through to brand activation and in-store product demonstrations. We work with some fantastic brands including Britvic, PepsiCo, Co-op, Nespresso, and Charlotte Tilbury to name a few. The agency is re-launching in January 2018 and taking a brand new proposition to market, so it’s an exciting opportunity and great chance to join.

Job Overview

We are on the hunt for a super talented mid-weight designer with a passion for creative work and an eye for detail. Working as part of a small design/creative team you’ll be the design lead for the agency, delivering work for a number of high profile clients. You’ll need to be a conceptual thinker and able to translate big strategic ideas into polished creative output at iD.

Roles and Responsibilities

Being the design lead for the iD, taking responsibility for the 2D/graphic design output of the agency, working with creative/strategy and nurturing junior designers within the team:

  • Taking ultimate responsibility for turning conceptual ideas in to highly polished designs
  • Working with creative/strategy to develop first class creative ideas
  • Managing the workflow of the studio and bringing in freelance support as and when required
  • Mentoring and developing the skills of more junior members of the design time
  • Ensuring design is delivered on time and within budget
  • Communicating work in a clear and straightforward way to colleagues, third party partners and clients


Technical Skills and Requirements

  • 4-6 years experience as a graphic designer, within creative/design agencies
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) essential
  • Mac literate
  • Typography and print skills
  • An understanding of artwork and print setup
  • Web design knowledge
  • Ideally experience working on experiential and retail projects
  • Knowledge of 3D software packages such as C4D an advantage but not essential
  • A proven track record of producing highly crafted design work
  • Competent working with different agency disciplines (creative, strategy, design, client services)
  • Experience mentoring more junior members of a team
